Curry Beef Burgers
4 servings
Try these tasty burgers for a change of pace especially if
you love curry.
Ingredients
1 small onion, chopped (½ cup)
1 pound ground beef
1 egg, beaten
3 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 teaspoon curry
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon salt
4 hamburger buns, toasted
Directions
In a large bowl combine the beef, chopped onions, egg,
mustard and seasonings. Mix well. Shape
into four patties. Create an indentation
in the middle of the burger with your thumb to prevent the hamburgers from
crowning in the middle.
You can then grill the burgers on an outdoor or
indoor grill or frying pan. Make sure
the grill is well oiled if cooking outdoors or use non-stick cooking spray on
an indoor grill pan. Cook until the
burgers are no longer pink in the middle. Toast the buns if you prefer.
Eat and enjoy!
Notes
You can substitute ground chicken or turkey for
the beef if you prefer. Adjust
seasonings to your taste.
